BARACK’S LATEST BEST BUDDIES,

A BRIEF EXCERPT:
“Work performed at the site by members of Iran's Revolutionary Guard is also mentioned in the intercepted conversations. The Revolutionary Guard is a paramilitary organization under the direct control of Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. It controls a large part of the Iranian economy and also plays a significant role in Iran's own nuclear activities. Not all of its missions abroad are cleared with the government of moderate President Hassan Rohani. The Revolutionary Guard is a state within a state.
“Experts are also convinced that North Korea is involved in Zamzam as well. Already during the construction of the Kibar facility, Ibrahim Othman worked closely together with Chou Ji Bu, an engineer who built the nuclear reactor Yongbyon in North Korea….
“But the new development also comes at an uncomfortable time for the US government. Despite all official denials, Washington is currently operating in the region more-or-less in concert with Syria's Assad in the fight against the Islamist terrorist militia Islamic State.”
MY OWN RESPONSE TO THE PRECEDING ‘DER SPIEGEL’ , IRAN PUSHING NUCLEAR WEAPONS IN SYRIA, JOURNALISTIC SCOOP:
Many (and I mean many) years ago, when I was fulfilling the very last requirements for getting my final graduate degree in Sociology, I was obliged to audit several courses in the Psychiatry department of my university.
And lo and behold, one of the seminars I attended focused on pathological narcissism – a controversial label often assigned to America’s current “It’s All About Me” president.
As I remember it, here’s a layperson’s (my) description of the traits of a “narcissistic psychopath” (filtered through the haze of time of nearly 45 years ago):
- Glibness/superficial charm
- Grandiose sense of self-worth
- Need for stimulation/proneness to boredom
- Pathological lying
- Lack of remorse or guilt
- Shallow affect [i.e. superficial experience and expression of emotions]
- Callous/lack of empathy
Hmmmm. If the shoe fits, maybe we shouldn’t acquit Barack Obama (from this labelling)!
So, my curiosity aroused, I then used today’s Internet (soon to be regulated by you know who) to look for any confirmation of this "psychopathic narcissistic" label.
And what do you know!?!
The preceding eight personality traits are similar to the first eight (of twenty) on the Hare Psychopathy Checklist – Revised (PCL-R). The items above are classified as AGGRESSIVE NARCISSISM, sometimes known as malignant narcissism.
And what behavior traits does this “diagnosis” encompass?
Well, for one, “narcissistic psychopaths” tend to be -- to paraphrase the checklist's wording -- smooth, soulless operators pursuing power, position, and money.
Further, they may be well-educated and may have sterling job qualifications.
However, these “soulless operators” are quite capable of reflecting on how better to deceive people, while remaining totally oblivious to why they shouldn’t.
Most important, more intelligent narcissistic psychopaths tend to be viewed as "superficial charmers", concealing their worst impulses and worming their way into positions of power, wealth, and influence.
Sound like any current American command-in-chief we know?
